You can create a hyperlink in your page by selecting the link text and clicking on the Insert / Edit Link button.

Creating Internal Links

While creating links to other book pages, be sure to type the link url as /node/999.

The Url can be typed as /node/nodeid or node/nodeid. The nodeid is the id of the target page you want to link to. You can find the node id of a page by viewing it in your browser. The node id is displayed in the address bar - for ex: http://www.ustudy.in/node/136 - here, the nodeid is 136. So your link url is node/136.

Creating External Links

Use the same procedure for link creation as above but specify the external site using full URL: http://www.example.com. While linking to external sites, set the target to new window so that it opens up in another window and does not cause the user to navigate out of our site. You can set the target from the Link dialog's target tab.
